What is happening in the Connecticut Real Estate Market Place

Right now Connecticut Home owners are asking themselves – what is going on in our market place – lets look at Stamford as an example. Here is a simple chart on Average Home Prices Yearly on Single Family Homes and then the average number of sales, grouped by year – this year only includes January thru May so the number of sales is only 5  months but it is interesting – 2021 had the most number of sales since 2008. Think about this, listings are scarce because they sell quickly, and don’t stay on the market long, But more people moved into a new home than in the last 14 years. Prices are higher this year as well, so far we are not seeing rising rates effect. Now is still a great time to move!
